La Scala Hotel, located in Via della Scala, is a charming, not too pretencious spot. They only got double rooms at the price of 85 euros (or 60 with hallway bathrooms), so it's made for you, love pigeons :) Some rooms are decorated with original frescoes and the hotel has a general swanky apperance. The owner is always open for some chatter, have a go!
