What festivals do they celebrate in Florence?(give a different answer) .
There's the explosive Scappio del Caro on Easter Sunday. People gather in front of the Duomo and they witness the ignition of a cart full of fireworks. It's way too pazzo!!! (that means crazy). What else? Festa di San Giovani is the celebration of the patron saint of Florence, that takes place on the 24 June. It's mad as well, coz people play soccer in Piazza Santa Croce wearing 16th century costumes. The longest music festival is the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, running from April to June. Stay tuned!
