I am interested about St Ambrose’s Day. I know there is a festival in Texas but do Italians have a festival, too in Milan?(give a different answer) .
Yes, St Ambrose’s Day is one of the major festivals in Milan. On December 7th and 8th during the celebration of St Ambrose, the patron saint of the city, the festival is being held around the Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio at the Fiera di Milano. During the festivities, colourful market stalls are displayed: flower, sweet and cake stalls which are quite amazing. To get there take bus no 1 and get off at Amendola Fiera stop.
