Have your departure from the historic centre of Napoli, Spaccanapoli. Then, from the station, turn right onto Via Mezzocannone, which will lead you up to the bustling street of the neighbourhood, Via Benedetto Croce. A must-see is Basilica di Santa Chiara, which was destroyed in WWII and then restored to its initial Gothic-Provencal architecure. The basilica is just next door, on your left, in Piazza del Gesu Nuovu. Don't miss Chiostro delle Clarisse either, with wonderful decorations, in the same square.
