I went to Palermo last year and indulged myself in the reading nook at Hotel Letizia, in Via dei Bottai, nr. 30. Felt as cheerful as a newborn...There's also a breakfast terrace, wooden floors, air conditioning. I was content with the spacious rooms and my book nest. Prices are partly nail-bitinig: 78 euros for a single, 110 for a double.
