I fancy eating a pasta con le sarde - with sardines, fennel, pine nuts - in Palermo. Familiar with any spot?(give a different answer) .
An ex puppet theatre, restaurant Capricci di Sicilia, takes pride in its traditional cuisine. Last year I stuffed myself with a Palermitian snack, called panini, filled with ricotta and hot veal innards. Weird, but my tongue didn't go on strike, I recall. Food is not pricey in Via Instituto Pignatelli, nr. 6, it juggles around 7 euros, but pay attention that locals dine late and restaurants don't gain consciousness before 8.30 pm.
