Maybe it's a little expensive if you want to stay more than 2 or 3 days in Rome... I myself woudn't pay 200 euro per night for long periods. But if you want to feel good in a 19th century palace go and spend you money at Hotel Savoy (http://savoy.hotelinroma.com/). Rooms are very elegant, decorated in a classical-style. The Sistina restaurant serves great Mediterranean food... so don't miss dining there.
