Any one-star hotel in that glamorous Rome?(give a different answer) .
Roma, non basta una vita...One life is not enough to visit it. I've made an attempt one year ago, and I stayed at Hotel Castelfidardo, just off Piazza dell'Indipendenza. It's one-stared, with English valid-owners, ready to give you a helping hand with any information about their city. Single rooms cost 55 euros, or 46 without bathroom on the spot, while doubles around 74. Still pocket-pinching, I'd say...and it hurt me a bit last summer.
