If you wanna be away from the busy Rome there is a great place to stay at Via C. Colombo, called Camping Fabulous. Maybe it's not so fabulous as they say (because it takes 30 minutes to get to the city and the restaurant seemed too expensive) but we found a friendly staff and clean bathrooms. Price was ok.
