what festivals do the locals of Rome celebrate in summer?(give a different answer) .
On the 29th of June Rome celebrates its patrons: Saint Peter and Saint Paul. If in the past people used to go to 2 famous taverns (Osteria del '31 & Scarpone), dine with the food brought from home and then admire the fireworks from Castel San'Angelo... nowadays they try to maintain the tradition by organizing different celebrations at Saint Peters cathedral.
