Enjoying a gelato at San Crispino, Rome

Posted 1 year ago by tramo in response to sir's question: Where can i have the famous Italian gelato in Rome? I'm crazy about ice cream. (give a different answer) .

I went with a group of friends last year in Rome and as someone recommended us San Crispino we went to check it out. It's a gelateria on Via della Panetteria, near Trevi Fountain. Indeed, it has fantastic ice cream i mean we became addicted with the creamy flavours of ginger, whisky and cinnamon, every night we chose a different favourite flavour. The fruit sorbets are delicious too and the flavours change with the season. In one word: excellent gelati though the gelateria is kind of crowded and small. Opens from 12pm to 12.30am and closes on Tuesday.
