liquid's question:
what important churches are in Rome's Trastevere?(give a different answer) .
I have some pictures from the Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere. It's true I'm that kind of person who likes visiting as many holy places as possible but this one was very beautiful. It was built a long time ago (in AD 337) and it's said to be the Rome's oldest church dedicated to Virgin Mary. Inside there are stunning mosaics dating from the 12th century. The church is open during these hours: 7.30am-12.30pm & 3.30am-7.30pm
