Bocca della verita (the Mouth of Thruth) is located inside the church called Santa Maria in Cosmedin on Via del Circo Massimo which is opened for visits between 10am and 6 pm with an hour break at 1 pm. The Bocca della verita legend says that if you put your right hand into the mouth and tell a lie, the mouth will snap shut. The church has also an interesting seven storey bell tower and an interior decorated with inlaid marble.
