Rome's Renaissance Palazzo Venetia

Posted 1 year ago by trakker in response to avatar makka's question: We were told Piazza Venezia is the first place to visit if you have the chance to get to Rome. What is so important to be seen there? (give a different answer) .

One most prestigious building in the capital is for sure Palazzo Venezia (on the right of the square)... the place that hosted for years important names from Italy's history. Mussolini too spent some time here... he had some rooms which he used as his offices. Though the palace was built in 1455 he continues to be as imposing as it had been rised yesterday. Open: Tue-Sat 9am-2pm.
