Some sights to visit while being in the area of the Roman Forum

Posted 1 year ago by stikka in response to avatar friendship's question: Which interesting sights surround the Roman Forum? (give a different answer) .

To the left there is the Tempio di Antonio e Faustina (it was built in AD 141 in name of Empress Faustina but then dedicated to Emperor Antonius Pius). To the right you can see the Basilica Aemilia. Then, you can also visit the Temple of Julius Caesar, the Arco di Settimio Severo or the Lapis Niger (they say it covered Romulus' tomb)
