kelly's question:
I know there are many churches with an important historical significance in Rome. Could anyone mention some of them?(give a different answer) .
What could be best to visit than the Cathedral of Rome: San Giovanni in Laterano? It is the first Christian church built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century (but rebuilt later) and dedicated to Jesus, Sts John the Baptist and John the Evangelist. I won't try to describe it because i can't... it is just too much to say about it. Visit it; it's in Piazza di San Giovanni Laterano.
