Walking in Rome along Ponte Sant'Angelo

Posted 1 year ago by shauli in response to avatar elena's question: which are the most attracttive sights in Borgo, Rome? (give a different answer) .

The Ponte Sant'Anglelo is a good place to take photos as to remember you of Borgo. It's opposite Castel Sant'Angelo, in Lungatovere Castello 50. Even though it collapsed almost entirely in 1450 (because it was very old, dating from Emperor Hadrian's period) is was rebuilt and more than that, the famous Bernini sculpted the beautiful angels which can be seen today.
