katia's question:
My friends recommend me to go to Piazza San Giovanni as soon as I'll get to Rome. Why is the area so important?(give a different answer) .
It is important because here can be found some of the most holy places in Rome. Scala Santa for exemple is supposed to be the the staircase that Jesus walked up in Jerusalem, in the palace of Pontius Pilate before his death. Italians are blessed to have in their city religious sites like this one. The Scala Santa is at the end of Piazza San Giovanni and it cost you no money to see it.
