i've heard in rome there are some buses which offer tours around the city.... maybe that would be better than paying for a guide. where do i find them?(give a different answer) .
The largest variety of tours is offered by Green Line Tours. They have the standard Shuttle Tour which lasts 90 minutes and costs 22euro. The other ones are longer and you get to see only some sights of the city (for example you visit the Christian places)... the ticket is 31.50euro. All of the buses depart from Piazza Cinquecento.
