Where can I hire a scooter from in Rome?(give a different answer) .
Scooters can be rented from Treno e Scoter Rent, Stazione Termini; the cost is at least EUR 31 per day. Another good place to go would be I bike, located at Villa Borghese underground car park... just that here they are more expensive (EUR 60 per day). Note that you need a credit card and a photo ID whenever you wanna hire a scooter.
