First of all I must tell you need a photo ID for bikes rental. A good operator is Bici e Baci (www.bicibaci.com, Via del Viminale 5). Their bikes are € 11 for a day. With one euro less I once hired a bike from Appia Antica Regional Park Visitor Centre, at Via Appia Antica 42.
