Traveling by public transport around Rome

Posted 1 year ago by tramo in response to sonny's question: How can i travel around Rome, can you tell me how much a ticket cost? (give a different answer) .

A Metrebus ticket is valid for all means of public transport. You can buy tickets from newsstands, tabacchi and vending machines at main bus stops. A single ticket is 0.75 euro and is valid for 75 minutes, daily tickets are 3.10 euro and weekly tickets cost 12.40 euro. As you board, validate your ticket in the orange machine. You should avoid traveling without ticket or you risk a hefty 53 euro fine.
