3000 years ago Mount Etna had her first furious eruption, the most recent one in 2001. There's 300 disasters registered over the years, but the locals stubbornly build and rebuild houses, closer and closer to the "muntagna". When Etna is smoking with white steam, everything is all right, but when the black steam rises, the 1 million inhabitants go mad. In 1667, the eruption destroyed even the nearby city of Catania. Still, the orange, lemon and olive orchards flourish...
