If you want to see the preserved head of a saint go to Chiesa di San Domenico e Santuario di Santa Caterina, a church located in Piazza San Domenico, entry is free. St Catherine is displayed there plus part of her thumb; there is also a shop where you can buy kitschy Christian souvenirs.
