Murano, Burano and Torcello islands of Venice

Posted 1 year ago by avatar marcelus in response to pint's question: Is there anything thrilling to gaze at on the islands of Venice? (give a different answer) .

Murano Island, for instance, houses a glass factory, where exquisitive objects are born. You can improve your knowledge about this italian craft by visiting the Glassworks museum as well. Torcello island' s worth a go due to the Byzantine cathedral and mosaics, or, at least for its ghosts...I mean its' deserted, mybe haunted..:) The malaria scared the inhabitants. Burano is dull and boring, a fishermen village, known for its lace.
