Venice's Palazzo Labia: visit the frescoed room

Posted 1 year ago by avatar claire in response to avatar donny's question: I know there are dozens of palaces in Venice... but I don't think I'll have time and money to visit them all. which are on top? (give a different answer) .

It may not be the greatest palace in Venice but I liked (maybe because I like art). Palazzo Labia (Campo S. Geremia 275) features a real masterpiece, the frescoed room. Inside it can be seen the famous "Meeting of Anthony and Cleopatra" belonging to Tiepolo. It's a pity they open it only for an hour, bet 3 and 4pm, every Wed, Thu and Fri.
