Near Fondamenta degli Ormesini, the most peaceful place in this part of Venice, stands the famous Chiesa della Madonna dell'Orto, known for the collection of Tintoretto's paintings that it contains. The painter and his family are buried here because that was his parish. I was really impressed by the beauty of this church.... a true masterpiece. I had to pay 2.5 euro for the admission.
