We too were recommend the Avventure Bellissime agency. Their cruises along the Grand Canal and some other canals in Venice last 1h & 10m and cost € 40. From 4th March to 14th October they operate daily but in winter you can go only on Tue, Fri and Sat. They will tell you where the meeting point is. Tel: 39 041 970499.
